Kanakhala - near haradvara - place of daksha yagna

 Kanakhala is a sacred town, near Haradvāra, on the Ganges where Dakṣa performed the great sacrifice in which Satī burnt herself. The river Gaṅgā is held very sacred at Kanakhala.
